• 1. WHAT WE COLLECT 
  • (a) We may collect and store the following Personal Information when you use the Stowk System, interact with Stowk, or request services:
    • i. User registration information. We collect information you share with Stowk when registering as a user. This may include your name, phone number, email address, physical or mailing address, copies of licenses or required documents, EIN or social security number, and other profile or account related information.
    • ii. Information you submit to the Stowk System. When you use the Stowk System, including arranging for or providing transportation, you may submit information to the Stowk System or to other users. We collect this information. 
    • iii. Location information. We may use GPS or position monitoring capabilities in your phone to track your location. 
    • iv. Payment information. We will collect your credit card, bank account information or other payment information as necessary to process transactions for transportation and other services that may be arranged through the Stowk System marketplace. 
    • v. Background and vehicle information. We may collect information about your vehicle and driving records if you arrange for services through the Stowk System. 
    • vi. Information from your browser or device. We will collect information about the device or browser you use to access the Stowk System. This might include information about the pages you visit and your activity on our websites or mobile applications. We use small text files known as cookies to optimize our website and to increase its functionality. Most mobile devices and web browsers allow you to disable cookies, but doing so may limit the functionality of the Stowk System. Cookies do not grant us access to your computer, tablet, or mobile device. We may also use clear .gif files, log files, or web beacons to analyze our traffic.
    • vii. Information for customer or technical support. We will collect information you submit to or share with us to provide customer or technical support.  
• 2. USE AND SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
  • (a) We primarily use your Personal Information to provide the Stowk System, to operate our online marketplace, and to improve your user experience. Specifically, we may use your Personal Information to: 
    • i. create a user profile for you;
    • ii. connect you with other users to arrange for or provide vehicle transportation services as more thoroughly described in our Terms of Service; 
    • iii. process your payments for services provided by other users;
    • iv. pay you for services provided to other users;
    • v. facilitate communication among users or third parties for the purpose of providing services;
    • vi. provide your information to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes, but only with your consent;
    • vii. send you emails, text (SMS) messages or phone calls regarding the Stowk System or the services provided; 
    • viii. respond to requests for customer or technical support; and
    • ix. comply with and fulfill requests and requirements of law or legal process. 
• 3. SECURITY
  • (a) Stowk employs industry standard physical, managerial, and electronic methods of protecting your Personal Information. However, the Company cannot guarantee the security of our network or databases, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won't be intercepted while being transmitted across the internet. You acknowledge and agree that you transmit all information, including Personal Information, solely at your own risk.
• 4. THIRD PARTY LINKS
  • (a) You may encounter links to third party websites or applications when accessing the Stowk System. We cannot guarantee the safety of your information when interacting with third parties. You agree to use caution when accessing third party links and agree to do so solely at your own risk.  
• 5. TESTIMONIALS
  • (a) We may display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on the Stowk System. With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, please contact us through the contact form available on Stowk.com
• 6. YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
  • (a) California law permits residents of California to request certain details about how their Personal Information is shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. Stowk does not share your Personal Information with third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes unless you provide us with consent to do so.
